Hunting Traditions

A tough hunt...

This was the hunt that typifies the Alaskan Outback. It started out pretty much like any other hunt. We gathered our gear, looked over our check-list, and we thought we were prepared. After all, Kurt lives in Alaska, he's hunted there several years... I've hunted there with him.

Thinking that experience was enough, we felt confident as our motley group of six left the Schuster home in Eagle River.

Big Leo (Schuster), Eric and Kurt Schuster, Cousin Kenny and his buddy Steve, and myself made the trip interesting.
